Weird setup but bare with me! Still working on getting the correct start height.
Might sacrifice the pallet and glue up some custom blocks.
Log Clean and Press 5 x 3 @ 52

Only a single rep here.
Slight headache this morning which has gradually progressed during block pulls and log warmups.
Head pressure when pressing the log was like a dagger in the back of my right eye so quitting here for some paracetamol and rehydration.
Summary
From last log session…
You mentioned the clean being a single movement so I gave this a go with the empty log this morning.
Didn’t feel too comfortable from where I was I think due to the log having an off centre centre of gravity on the frontal plane making it way different to a barbell clean.
I went back to tech demo videos but couldn’t find any examples of this with the log.
Going to go with Brian Shaw on this one (https://youtu.be/OrrPuoEZSHs).
Log from the floor seems to be a 3 step movement of lapping the log, rolling it to the chest then the press.
Block pulls ok today.
Log not so much after all that above!
