Bench 5 x 3 @ 78

Felt good.
A couple of wobbly reps but feeling solid.
Resting 3 minutes.

Deadlift 2 x 3 @ 145

Set 1 rep 1 slow. The other 2 were good though.
Rested 5 minutes.
Set 2 rep 1 was a battle again but the other 2 were good.

Squat 4 x 5 @ 122.5

Resting 5 minutes.
Set 1 was a whole bunch of toe shifting.
Set 2 felt better.
Set 3 was back on the toes again.

Summary

Not too bad.
Feeling tired but have felt worse.
Cooler weather helped this morning.
Squats felt killer after heavy deadlifts/

Last rep was a little slower.

Enjoying the lighter weight to concentrate on form.
All good.

Barbell Row 4 x 5 @ 77.5

Sets 3 and 4 last few reps feeling difficult.

Summary

Hot one this morning.
Glad for the lighter weight.

Bench 4 x 5 @ 68

Feeling good and solid.
A couple of wobbly reps but good on the whole.

Squat 4 x 5 @ 120

Felt rocking on lower weights so slowed down to fix.
Rep 1 was all kinds of noises coming from knees and hips.
Reset my setup on set 3. Feeling a knot in my right lat.
Last set was on the toes a lot.
Didn’t feel great on form today.

Deadlift 3 x 3 @ 130

Set 3 rep 1 rolled. Nearly didn’t get it up at all.
All the rest were ok.

Summary

Ok morning.
Feeling really sore in the lower back/glute/hams.
Not overall pleased with squats but all else was ok.

Last rep felt like a grind.
All good though.

Deadlift 1 x 5 @ 142.5

Heavy but felt ok.
Last rep was a tough one.

Tempo Squat 5 x 3 @ 95

Feeling good and stable here.

Summary

Not bad after a late start.
Being back at work has kicked my ass the last few days.
All lifts feeling good.
Felt solid on press and Deadlift.
Squats feeling ok.

Bench 5 x 3 @ 77

Set 1 super heavy but moving.
Felt tight in the right shoulder.
Set 2 feeling better.
Last set slower but felt solid.

Squat 3 x 5 @ 137.5

Last warmup feeling heavy.
Set 1 failed on rep 5. Lost it at the bottom and couldn’t grind it out.
Set 2 rep 1 felt a twinge in the lower back on the left side, top of the glute.
Set 3 failed on rep 2.

Barbell Row 4 x 5 @ 77.5

Lower back feeling tight here.
Getting worse on last 2 sets.

Ok morning.
Only 2 of 3 possible PRs.
First full bail on the squats and had to do it twice!
