Squat 1×1 @ 170

Warmups good. Resting 4 minutes.
Top set unpack felt light.
Eccentric phase felt good and steady. Not 100% sure on depth. Maybe needed a couple more cm.
Felt ok on the way up but my head came up.
Back set felt steady but heavy.

Feeling a strain in the right Adductor magnus(?) while packing up the plates after squat.

Deadlift 10×1 @ 104

Warmups ok. Still noticing the strain in the right leg but powering through. Resting 30 seconds.
All good on the lifts. Being a little careful but moving lower weight fine.

Squat PR!
May have annoyed something in the right leg. More details below.

Bench 1×5 @ 94

Resting 2 minutes.
Top set felt nice and smooth. Last rep slowed a little.
Back set all good.

Press (strict) 4×5 @ 51

Resting 2 minutes.
Set 3 Rep 5 was a tough one.
Only 4 reps on the last set.

Circuit 3×12 keg DL, 40s step up, 6 tyre squats, 60kg bench AMRAP

Lower back sore again during and after tyre squats. Not sure what the cause is.
Some proper loose/poor quality bench going on. It’s surprising how much your legs get involved. Being slightly gassed makes it damn near impossible to stay stable.

Summary

All good today.
No problems pressing.
Circuit didn’t feel as taxing as last week.

Warmups good. Resting 2 minutes.
Top set felt smooth.
Back sets also smooth.
Should have gone heavier here.

Squat 10×2 @ 112

Warmups good. Resting 60 seconds.
Left wrist a little sore immediately after for a few minutes.
Feels fine now.

Power Clean 6×2 @ 51

Warmups good. Resting 2 minutes.
Not bad, not good…

Summary

All moving ok this morning.

Start set didn’t get too high.
Top set 0 repped both sets. Rested 3 minutes after first set.
Back set felt tougher than it should have been.
Dunno man!

Bench 4×5 @ 84

Warmups good. Resting 2 minutes.
Again felt tougher than it should have been.
Not sure what the deal is today.

Row 3×5 @ 84

Warmups all good. Resting 2 minutes.
Not too bad here. Definitely best of the 3 today.

Summary

Tough morning for seemingly no good reason at all.
Maybe I need to eat more.

Warmups ok. Resting 2 minutes.
Top set ok. Probably could have gone with 3 plates but last warmups set felt heavy on the way up.
Backs set moved ok but noticed the left shoulder again today. Seems fine about 5-10 minutes after.

Deadlift 10×1 @ 120

Warmups good. Resting 30 seconds.
No problems here.

Summary

Pretty decent this morning.
Rapid sessions are proving pretty handy at the minute.
Is there any advantage/disadvantage in doing a rapid 45 minute session on a work day and a longer 90 minute-2 hour session on a day off vs sticking to all similar length workouts?
