Pause Squat 1×1 @ 140

Warmups all good. Rested 3 minutes.

Top set all good but not quite an RPE9.
Back sets, none hitting the full 5 reps but all felt ok.

Deadlift 10×1 @ 112.5

Warmups ok.
Right hip/glute feeling tight.

Rep 1 ok.
Noticing more tightness in the late setup once I’ve got the grip sorted. Tightest point is when I set the back before pulling.

Called it after 5 reps.

Summary

Hip trouble today.
Skipping Power Cleans as the setup is the same as deadlift where I was having issues.
Squats felt fine but Deadlift setup feeling gradually tighter on the right side as reps went on.
Not sure what to point the finger at!

Warmups all good. Rested 2 minutes.

Traps a little stiff. May have slept funny.
No problems with lifts though.

Circuit 3x8s Tyre Flip/Push Up/Keg Row

90 seconds between sets.

Tough on the arms here but good fun!

Top set felt ok.
Felt more in the back than the legs.
Not sure if that’s correct.
Probably going to B&Q later this week so will pick up some scrap wood to raise the blocks easier.

Squat 10×2 @ 105

Warmups all good. Rested 90 seconds.

No issues here.

Power Cleans 5×3 @ 40

Rested 2 minutes between sets.

Really not sure what’s going on with this!
Set 1 didn’t record for some reason.
Pretty sure elbows aren’t high enough but the plates are in the way so I’ll get an alternate angle next time.
Set 4 Rep 1 was well off!

Power Cleans are going to take some getting used to.

Set 3 Rep 3 hit the pins but managed to control it.
Everything else feeling super smooth here.

Row 3×8 @ 65

Warmups all good. Rested 2 minutes.

No problems.
All smooth again.
