Top set moved smooth. Probably another 10kg in the tank for RPE but didn’t want to risk it while I’m still getting used to the lower blocks again.
Back set (1 x 5 @ 120) all reps felt good. A little off RPE again but playing it safe.

Banded Chins – 3 x AMRAP @ BW
All good here. Last couple of reps on each set a little questionable!
Push Press – 1 x 3 @ 60 – 2 x AMRAP @ 50
Theres felt ok. Maybe should have rested mid set on the 2 lighter sets but managed some ok rep ranges.
Tyre Flip – 3 x AMRAP @ 100
Forgot to get the tyre out for the first set… had to roll it over in my transition phase.
Last set was struggling with grip under the tyre then blocked myself off with where the workbench was placed.
Summary
Feeling good this morning.
Everything moving nicely.
Hopefully this continues for my annual physical tomorrow. Will be interested to see if my numbers there have improved at all.
Safe press – Tried a lower bar start and a push press but yoke is still just slightly too heavy.
Clean pulls all ok.
Pinch holds – plates are just slightly too wide to be comfortable. Accumulated a fair few seconds but grip was toasted after 1 round.
Summary
Banging headache this morning, was hoping it would have gone by the time squats were out the way.
Only 1 fairly unsatisfactory lap on the circuit again.
