Squat 3 x 5 @ 132.5

Resting 3 minutes.
Set 1 felt ok.
Set 2 Rep 5 was way on the toes.
Set 3 felt better.

Axle Continental Clean and Press 8 x 2 @ 55

Resting 2 minutes.
Failing a couple of reps (S3R1, S4R2, S5R1).
Think my rhythm may have been off on transitioning from the belly to the rack position.
All the rest actually felt ok.

Summary

Good stuff today.
A little on the toes in the squat but think i managed to fix it for the last set.
Axle feeling good.

Resting until recovered.
10/8.
Forgot it was strict on set 1 and switched to push press after 5 reps.
Tried to squeeze a rest in set 2 but time ran out.

Sandbag Over Bar 60s/50s AMRAP @ 60

7 rounds total before time ran out.
All good, just wet.

Summary

Gave myself the morning off so this is a post lunch session.
No issues overall. Nice and damp after sandbag over bar in the rain.

Deadlift 2 x 5 @ 135

Resting3 minutes.
Set 1 slow and steady but struggling to get a full breath at the bottom.
Set 2 breathing at the top to see if its any better.

Breath at the top felt bigger but felt like it may have compromised setting my back on the following rep.

Bench 5 x 5 @ 85

Resting 3 minutes.
Set 5 rep 5 clanged on the safety so had to fight it back up.
If not for that then all of these would have been nice and smooth.

Summary

All good this morning.
Cold and bright.
Some experimentation with breathing on deadlift.

Starting to feel heavy but these all felt like they moved pretty well.

All good this morning.
No knots in the trap today.

From previous:
I don’t think that squat would have gone anywhere if we didn’t decrease the load on Monday.
Was still feeling the effects of them on Tuesday morning.

I’m happy to switch up a bit on both upper and lower lifts if you think it’ll be beneficial.
